A-Bu-Cha 2, located in the Upper Hirafu Village, opens as a cafe for lunch time and an izakaya for dinner time.
The restaurant’s seating plan has a bar counter, ozashiki (Japanese style tables), and tables accommodating groups of customers as well as a waiting space, and is a very family-friendly restaurant. The wooden tables were handmade by their staff and add a unique, warm, comfortable feeling. At lunch time from 11:30 to 16:00 they serve Japanese teishoku (your choice of main dish with rice and miso soup) and cafe items such as their excellent coffee and homemade sweets. Lunch meals include curry and rice (Japanese curry), grilled chicken and vegetables on rice. Their cakes are also very popular and a take away menu is available. Pre-ordering of birthday cakes is available. At night, a variety of nabe (hot pots) are a popular menu item at A-Bu-Cha 2. Their famous nabe meals include Ishikari Nabe (Salmon, potato, tofu and other vegetables with miso-based soup), Sukiyaki (beef, tofu and various vegetable with soy sauce-based soup) and shabu-shabu (thinly slice pork with you boil individually and dip in a special sauce) will warm you up after a day on the slopes. Small izakaya dishes such as yakitori and sashimi are also on the dinner menu, and char-grilled Shiraoi beef steak is available. The bar is well stocked with a selection of over 400 beverages. A-Bu-Cha 2 is located on the first floor of the Suiboku Apartment building in Upper Hirafu Village – two minutes from the main intersection and about five minutes walk from the Grand Hirafu Welcome Center.
