Asahikawa Ramen Tozanken

Asahikawa Ramen Tozanken is a popular ramen restaurant serving tantalizing traditional dishes in the Upper Hirafu Village. Asahikawa Ramen’s soy sauce, miso and salt based stocks are infused with fresh pork and fish flavors. Attention to detail, right down to medium thick noodles and unique and traditional preparations for soups such as an Asahikawa practice of  keeping the cold away by pouring  hot lard on top. Their menus offer a wide ranges of meals to choose from. Tozanken’s authentic ramen menus are Zangi (deep fried chickens) on top, and Dosanko Ramen served with stir fried scallops, sweet corn and butter. Enjoy rice bowls as a side menu, donburi meals such as katsu (deep fried pork) on rice and Ikura (salmon eggs) on rice, plus a Genghis Khan set meal served with rice and miso soup. Asahikawa has proved to be a tourist hit with mountain sport lovers lining up at lunch breaks to eat great ramen worth the wait! Asahikawa Ramen Tozanken is on Hirafu-Zaka Street between Grand Hirafu Ski Ground and the Central Hirafu Village. Banners are placed at the entrance of the building where the restaurant is situated, so it is easy to find. It is approximately two minutes walk up on the hill from the main Hirafu Intersection and five minutes walk from Grand Hirafu Ski Resort.
