Eri’s Kitchen is the place to go to learn authentic Japanese Homestyle Cooking with classes held in Central Hirafu Village four days a week. Eri Ashizawa, born in Hokkaido, provides cooking skills based on her family’s great cooking skills and instruction. Based on her generational heritage of mother and grandmother who were great cooks, Eri teaches how to cook healthy and tasty Japanese cuisine made with Hokkaido ingredients that are available at major local supermarkets. Hokkaido bears the name “Food Island” producing one in five Japanese agricultural products as well as fresh seafood, vegetables and dairy products.
