Makkari Hot Spring

Makkari Hot Spring is one of the area’s most popular onsens among locals with an awesome outdoor bath where visitors can have a relaxing and restful time with fantastic views of Mt. Yotei. Makkari Hot Spring  is also called ‘Yezo Fuji or Ezo Fuji, because it is a lot like famous Mount Fuji. The splendid view attracts many hot spring fans enjoying water flowing directly from the hot spring source. The hot spring water is believed to have healing powers derived from its mineral content such as natrium, chloride, hydrosulfate, and hydrogen carbonate. Many Mt.
