Established in 1996 this ice cream and cake store uses the milk and cream produced by the next door dairy farm.
Milk Kobo is situated on a large site on the road up to the Higashiyama area. The fresh cakes such as cream puffs, cheese cake, mirukuhen, cookies and rusks are fresh out of the oven at around 10am. If you order the cream puffs you can often watch the rich pastry being filled with the cream in front of your eyes as the kitchen and bakery is all behind a glass wall. If you want to sample one or two of the flavours of ice cream you need to buy a ticket from the vending machine before choosing what you want. Just a couple of steps outside the door there’s local handmade glass souvenir shop where you purchase or even try making your own glass souvenirs. Milk Kobo is located about 7 minutes drive Southeast from Hirafu village, towards the Niseko Village area.
