Newly expanded for 2013, Tamashii is Hirafu’s largest, most central entertainment spot, with space for up 150 people during events and restaurant seating for 75.
Tamashii has a casual, relaxed atmosphere, with plenty of space for large groups and picnic table seating in the centre, bar stools and counters around the exterior. This allows for a great deal of flexibility, making it a comfortable place for lunch or dinner with a couple of friends, or the place to party into the wee hours with a couple hundred! 3 big screen TV’s play ski, snowboard videos and broadcast sports events, so it’s a great place to catch your favourite team, and the weekly DJ events make it Hirafu’s premier place to party after a day on the slopes. In winter darts competitions are held, and the outdoor fireplace keeps you warm on big event nights when crowds enjoy mingling both inside and out. Tamashii is open from 7:00 am till late for fresh pastries & coffee, lunch, and dinner. The breakfast menu consists of pastries and coffee, and the lunch and dinner menu features everything from light snacks like potato fries and buffalo wings to big serves like fish & chips, porterhouse steak, and chicken parma, and the food is good! Manager Jay takes pride in the menu and it shows. Located opposite the Seicomart convenience store and shuttle bus stop on Route 343 in the heart of Hirafu village, just up from Hirafu’s main intersection.
