The Green Leaf Hotel is a unique boutique hotel located within Niseko Village. Redesigned in 2010 by award-winning New-York design firm Champalimaud Design, it features design elements that reflect the surrounding natural elements. Renowned Hokkaido artist Emi Shiratori created the interior graphic designs. The hotel is located directly next to the main slope and just a short run away from the ski lifts at Niseko Village, with an on-site ski-in ski-out basecamp with lockers and equipment rentals. The Niseko Village slopes include a variety of terrain from Beginner to Advanced, with some of the Niseko area’s only lift accessible off-piste skiing. There is also an on-site onsen with a 100% natural mineral spring, and the Green Leaf Spa which features a variety of treatments and massages, including Thai massage and some specially designed treatments to pamper your kids. The lobby has comfortable lounge seating integrated with Tomioka White, the first floor bar, and there is a Japanese fusion buffet restaurant called Goshiki upstairs. The rooms are very clean, spacious and new, with very bright, modern designs. The furnishings are high quality and quite comfortable, and all rooms feature big screen TVs, free wireless internet, hairdryer and several complimentary amenities. Overall this hotel is good value for the price, in a beautiful natural setting. It should be noted that the hotel is currently only open during the winter ski season. Also, it is best accessed by car or bus, and there is a large complimentary car park on site.
